Our Daily Routine - Sunflowers and Daffodils
| 7:30am | Free play - with toys that have been set up for the morning - e.g. dressing up, building bricks, threading beads. |
| 8:15am | Tidy up time and Bathroom. |
| 8:30am | Breakfast. |
| 9:00am | Practitioner facilitated activity. |
| 10:00am | Fruit snack time. |
| 10:30am | Music and Movement. |
| 11:00am | Outdoor play. |
| 11:45am | 5 minute adult - led story session followed by hand washing and getting ready for lunch. |
| 12noon | Lunch Time |
| 1:00pm | Quiet time (rest for those children who need to) and for others activity tables are set up - e.g. puzzles, books, free drawing. |
| 2:00pm | Outdoor Play |
| 3:00pm | Children take part in messy activity - sand/water/beans/spaghetti/play dough. |
| 3:30pm | Story time - children are encouraged to read/acquaint themselves with books. |
| 3:45pm | Bathroom. |
| 4:00pm | Tea Time |
| 5:00pm | Sing-a-along time /free play |
| 6:00pm | Going home time |
The routine for the Daisies is not as structured, as we take into consideration that the younger children have different sleeping habits. However the overall pattern of the day follows that of the rest of the nursery.
