We welcome the children as they arrive at the pre-school and encourage them in various ‘settling’ activities such as jigsaws, games, home corner, dressing up, sand and water play.
The children will take part in speaking and listening activities to help them develop social skills.
The children will have their breakfast.
The children will go into the garden for outdoor activities.
The Foundation Stage Curriculum. We guide and encourage the children to take part in Early Year’s activities, including practical early mathematics, pre-reading skills and computer work.
All the children join in with rhymes, songs and music.
At 12 noon:
All children sit down to have a nutritious home cooked lunch.
All children go out to play for outside activities.
The children take part in practical activities in order to develop their creative skills and their understanding of the world.
The children are guided to help them stretch their imagination and creative activities are designed to encourage them to learn in a fun way – through story telling and singing.
This is followed by story time.
Tea - time
The children are given opportunities to develop their independence as well as their social and personal development. As parents arrive to collect their children we give them informal feedback on their child’s activities during the day.
